Malatya Turgut Özal University (MTÜ) has added a new program to its portfolio of programs designed to train individuals integrated with next-generation knowledge, in line with Türkiye's vision for higher education. The Artificial Intelligence Engineering Thesis Master's Program, a first in the region, aims to train the expert human resources needed during the digital transformation process.
MTÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Bentli stated, "The Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program emphasizes not only a technology-focused education but also a multitude of high-level solutions in areas such as healthcare, energy, and industry, as well as an application-oriented interdisciplinary approach. This program aims to contribute to development by connecting our university with society and to play a role in the digital world."
Prof. Dr. Bentli also stated that three new master's programs in Economics have been launched at the university. He believes that with these new programs, Malatya Turgut Özal University will increase the academic diversity of its graduate education and make a broader academic contribution to both its students and the region. He also stated that these visionary steps, developed with MTÜ's "Next Generation University" approach and its goal of becoming a leading university in the region in IT-related fields, directly align with Turkey's digitalization, green transformation, and sustainable development goals.
